So;
Mulling over this project, I’ve come up with several different takes. I’m interested in the ways in which technology has become a new nature to us – how we navigate these systems daily without second thought, and how synthetic materials and digital interaction fits seamlessly into our lives. On this train of thought, I was thinking of integrating natural forms into unnatural, or urban, settings and vice versa.
Another idea i’ve been kicking around is one where I would ask three friends to fill out a questionnaire, based on which I could create an avatar for them, combining their portraits with some of their responses. Just to explore the idea of the potential to create identity digitally.
I’m a bit worried about my ability to pull any of this off.
Searching for some inspiration, I’ve found a few artists who manage to create digital collages that don’t pretend to be anything else – I think I’d rather take this approach than try to create a “seamless” image at this point in time.

I like your idea of involving people with the questionnaire and exploring the digital identity aspect. How we would imagine ourselves if we were virtual “characters” is a concept that I find peculiar to consider for myself hmm… maybe others have a clear idea of what they would “be”… I think this could turn out really interesting!
Great ideas : )

I like what you’re thinking here re the ways in which we stop noticing the ways in which technologies are embedded in our environment …
hope things are going well with the hands
